Easy winter decor

Some after-Christmas shopping yielded this silver "HOPE" sign

and some "icy" branches

all for less than $10. Put 'em together, and you've got a winter vignette:

"Deep in their roots, all flowers keep the light." (Theodore Roethke)

  4. What an appopriate message, especially given the events of this past weekend. May we pray for all the people involved, especially the victims and their families, and ask the Lord for an end to violence.

  6. Very pretty! I'm kinda bummed that I didn't get too much in the way of Christmas clearance.

  8. My heart smiles every time I see that lamp. Or more specifically, what's on it. ; )

I saw some "Peace" signs at Hobby Lobby a few days ago and almost bought one...now I wish I had! : )
