Grace at Home No. 473

Hello, friends! Can you believe that 2022 is half over?

This has been such a trying year in so many ways. A scourge of violence plagues our world, and political battles loom large over so much of the landscape. It's easy to become discouraged, isn't it?

Yet there are many people—like you!—who are working to make their homes and spheres of influence places of grace, and I am grateful to be able to celebrate that fact at the Grace at Home party.

Here are a few recent highlights I think you'll enjoy.

Want some inspiration for laid-back summertime decorating? You'll enjoy visiting Kristin from White Arrows Home.

Are you in need of some new furniture but don't have much to spend? You need to visit Rita from Panoply, who is furnishing a new house beautifully but inexpensively.

If you're looking for ways to refurbish inexpensive or free furniture finds, you'll want to check out this desk and bookcase makeover from Angela at Simply Beautiful.

Struggling to keep your home clean this summer? Alison from Organized Motherhood has some great tips for summertime cleaning.

If you're hosting a gathering for Independence Day and need some last-minute decor, check out these free printables from Allyson at Southern Sunflowers.

Looking for a simple but fun treat for July 4? Kelli from 3 Boys and a Dog shares a fun cake mix cookie recipe.

If you're finding yourself in need of some encouragement and hope, check out this post from Donna from Soul Survival.

Thank you to everyone who linked up! Now for today's party.

Here at the Grace at Home party, you can link up any post you've written that demonstrates how you're filling your space with truth, goodness, and beauty. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home or sphere of influence a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it. Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page. Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  Note that if you link a post here, you are giving me permission to share your post, including a photo.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  4. I so agree with your opening paragraphs. There's so much in the world I can't do anything about except pray. But I can shine my light in my sphere of influence.

  5. Richella, thank you for bringing grace to us all, and allowing us to share our corners of the world. No matter what problems we have, we are free, and that is the best rich. Thank you for sharing my collected home. It's more than the thrill of the hunt. It's the thrill of doing it less expensively!
