Spring

Oh, the joys of being in North Carolina in the springtime:

Ohhhh.

Ahhhh.

Mmmm.

Oh, yeah. Silver cars aren't supposed to be yellow.

Ah-ahh-choo!

What's springing up in your neck of the woods?

  2. It is in full force here in the South. Pollen just cakes the walkways on campus at school. It's pretty gross. However, the flowers are very pretty. Beautiful pictures! :)

  4. Tree pollen is high right now and my daughter is suffering because of it. I'm already taking allergy drops to help with my issues! But spring time is still a beautiful time of year :) Hope you enjoyed your Easter.

  5. Great post! I took my daughter to the park in Cary this morning, and we "cleaned" all of the pollen off of the slides by being the first to slide down!! Ah choo!

I'm hosting a giveaway on my blog and wanted to invite you to hop over if you'd like a chance to win the item of your choice (up to $35 value) from any of CSN's 200+ online stores :)

  9. I'm thinking about purchasing a gas mask for all of this pollen! Do you think it will work? ;)

I'm so glad that the pollen held off until today. Yellow Easter pictures are not very becoming!

  10. I looked out this morning and pollen was blowing every where. I hurried to close my windows. It is so hot here today, I had to turn on the air in the house. Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina!!! Carla

  13. I do love spring but it does bring the pollen. When we lived in Georgia, we all had allergies during the spring and fall.

The flowers make up for it though:)

  14. We get the pollen-covered cars too, but we're not quite to that point yet. We are very blessed that none of us have allergies!

  17. My daughter came in from outside yesterday and told me that our deck was all dusty. I went outside and the entire deck was yellow with pollen.

We just moved from Arizona, so that was a first for us!!
