Grace at Home No. 476

Well, my friends, we've almost made it through July. Around here that means that the hottest month of the year is nearly over, which is a relief. . . but it also means that the "lazy, crazy, hazy days of summer" are fading fast.

I'm always glad to see what y'all are up to, and here are a few highlights from last week's party.

If you're wanting more of a beachy look, check out this post from Niky at The House on Silverado.

If you'd prefer to stay inside and dream of other seasons, Christmas in July might be just what you need! Mary Jo from MasterPieces of My Life has some great crafting projects for you.

Do you have an antique sewing machine but don't know what to do with it? KMich Wedding Soiree Blog to the rescue! So many great ideas.

Do you struggle to find room to store bulky grill tools? You'll want to see this DIY organizer from Bill and Janet of A Life of Balance.

My boys and I love pepper jelly, but I've never made my own, so I was excited to get this recipe from Stacie at Counting Tomatoes.

Thank you to everyone who linked up! Now for today's party.

Here at the Grace at Home party, you can link up any post you've written that demonstrates how you're filling your space with truth, goodness, and beauty. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home or sphere of influence a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it. Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page. Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  Note that if you link a post here, you are giving me permission to share your post, including a photo.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. Happy Thursday, Richella and thank you for hosting and featuring my zinnias. We just returned from the mountains where the highs were low 70’s and back home to the mid 90’s. Enjoy your day and stay cool!

  2. I had big hopes for my flower beds this year, but once again when it got so hot, I stayed out of them. lol. But my zinnias have still been pretty!

  3. I'm thankful this hot month is almost over and we're one day closer to fall. We don't usually start cooling off til later in September, but I'm looking forward to it!

Lots of good stuff to check out here! I'm always fascinated by makeovers of both rooms and furniture. I'm decorating my guest room in a beachy theme and love looking at ideas for it.

  9. This heat has been brutal. My hydrangeas aren’t blooming but the periwinkles, pentas, potato vine, and mandevillia are going crazy. To each his own! We had to move the basil into the shade.
