Grace at Home No. 417

Hello, friends! I'm so glad you're here for the Grace at Home party, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace.

Spring has fully sprung here in North Carolina, where the flowering trees have gone crazy. The Bradford pear, cherry, and deciduous magnolia trees are absolutely glorious right now. If you follow me on Instagram (and I would so love to connect with you there!), you might have seen that I was inspired to write a bit of springtime haiku, which was challenging but fun.

You may have also seen that I was the blessed recipient of a visit from my daughter-in-law and my new grandson last week. My goodness, people aren't kidding when they say that there's nothing like having a grandchild!

Anyway, with all that going on, I didn't get a chance to host Grace at Home last week, and I apologize. But here are some features from the previous party I think you'll enjoy.

If you'd like lots of inspiration for decorating your home for spring, you'll want to see this home tour from Coco at The Crowned Goat.

Want some ideas for adding a springtime look to your living room? Check out this post from Tanya at Twelve O Eight Blog.

Do you like the idea of changing up your bedroom decor for springtime? You'll be inspired by Penny from Penny's Vintage Home.

Easter is coming up very soon. If you're looking for some fun ways to decorate, you might want to try your hand at making velvet Easter eggs. Julie from My Wee Abode shows you how.

Or if you'd like to create more whimsical Easter decor, Helen from Hello Sewing shows you how to make darling pom pom chicks using just your hands.

If you want to tackle a big DIY project, you should check out the headboard created by Hannah from Handmade Weekly. She gives a full tutorial!

Looking for a fun snack to prepare for Easter? Lois from Walking on Sunshine Recipes shows you how to make chocolate-covered peanut butter eggs.

As the weeks of pandemic drag on, do you find yourself struggling to get through the day? Then you'll really appreciate the prayers written by Nylse at LifeNotes

Want to take a deep dive into Bible study? You'll appreciate the direction provided by Donna Reidland of Soul Survival. Check out this post about how God guides his people.

Thank you to everyone who linked up!

Now for today's party.  Here at the Grace at Home party, you can link up any post you've written that demonstrates how you're filling your own home with truth, goodness, and beauty. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.  Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  Note that if you link a post here, you are giving me permission to share your post, including a photo.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party, and during these difficult times, it can really make someone's day!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
