Grace at Home No. 438

Hello! After a long, hot summer, I can hardly believe that we're already in the middle of September! How about you?

I'm so glad to welcome you to the Grace at Home party, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes and spheres of influence places of grace and beauty. Here are some of my favorites from last week's party.

Need some inspiration to jumpstart your fall decorating? Christin from My Homier Home has a bunch of easy-to-use ideas to share.

Want to make your own decorative pumpkins for fall? Janet from A Life of Balance shares a step-by-step tutorial for crafting these darling braided yarn pumpkins.

Ready to tackle a larger DIY project? Libbie from A Life Unfolding shows us how she created this gorgeous coffee table from a chicken crate.

Interested in making the most of your outdoor space? Fall is not the time to neglect your garden! Carol from Comfort Spring Station offers some great guidance for tasks to complete at this time of year.

Apparently this time of year has inspired many of y'all to get busy in the kitchen, since last week's party included a bunch of food posts. Here are a few that really caught my eye.

How yummy does this look? Check out the Cranberry Brown Sugar Cake from Jenny at Not Entirely Average.

Does your garden contain lots of basil that needs to be picked before frost? Try making this pesto sauce created by Julie from Julie's Creative Lifestyle--no expensive pine nuts required!

And I really want to try this Asian Chicken Salad recipe courtesy of Renae at Peacock Ridge Farm.

If this season brings you the chance to travel, you'll be glad to get some advice about national parks to visit from Jamie at PhotoJeepers.

And if you need some encouragement as you find yourself in a season of waiting, you'll be glad to read this post from Pam Ecrement at A New Lens.

Thank you to everyone who linked up!

Now for today's party.  Here at the Grace at Home party, you can link up any post you've written that demonstrates how you're filling your space with truth, goodness, and beauty. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home or sphere of influence a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it. Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  Note that if you link a post here, you are giving me permission to share your post, including a photo.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  6. It's finally starting to cool off a bit here, so I am ready to get out my fall decorations--hopefully this weekend. I love the more subtle fall colors in the top photo. I love the blazing orange and yellows outside, but I like softer colors in the house.
