Grace at Home No. 436

Happy September, friends!

I don't think I've ever been so glad for the calendar to turn. . . August 2021 was a crazy month, wasn't it? Here's hoping and praying that September will be a month of less turmoil.

Meanwhile, I'm so glad to welcome to you to the Grace at Home party, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace and beauty. Check out these features from last week's party.

If you have children or grandchildren who love creating with LEGOs, you'll be glad to see this little chest Angela from Simply Beautiful by Angela created from a roadside find.

If you're like me, sometimes you want to update your decor without spending a lot of money. Well, check this out: Paula from Sweet Pea updated pillows with paint! See her post for step-by-step instructions.

Itching to create some new autumn decor? You'll be inspired by sweet Debbie from the Debbie-Dabble blog has been busy creating fall crafts, including this beautiful wreath made of ribbon.

Hosting a special dinner this fall? You'll be glad to get inspiration for nine different autumn tablescapes from Pam of Everyday Living. Pam sets the most beautiful tables; here's a peek at just one:

After a very hot summer, I'm looking forward to cooking in the cooler temperatures of autumn. I was glad to find this recipe for a one-pot meal from Kimberly at LouLou Girls—doesn't this chicken with parmesan rice look tasty?

And for a quick weeknight dinner, I'd love to try these easy French dip sandwiches from Jenny at Not Entirely Average. Yum!

Need some soul sustenance these days? You'll be glad you read "When Life Doesn't Go as Planned" by Michelle Bengtson at Hope Prevails.

Thank you to everyone who linked up!

Now for today's party.  Here at the Grace at Home party, you can link up any post you've written that demonstrates how you're filling your space with truth, goodness, and beauty. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home or sphere of influence a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it. Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  Note that if you link a post here, you are giving me permission to share your post, including a photo.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  2. It will be a few weeks before it feels like fall here in TN, but I am looking forward to relief from summer heat. I probably won't decorate for fall for a couple of weeks or more yet, but I'm keeping an eye out for fresh ideas. Thanks for putting these links all together!
