Grace at Home No. 386

Hello, friends, and welcome to the Grace at Home party, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace!

It's been so interesting to see what's going on with y'all this year. We're now in the middle of the summer, a time when historically many of us have left home to go on vacation. Not this year! We're at home, and it's wonderful to see how so many people are making good use of the time at home.

Pam from Everyday Living is in the process of building a new garden shed. But who said a shed has to be an eyesore? Just see what's she's up to!

Want to see a beautiful new guest room? Check out the guest room Kristin from White Arrows Home created for the One Room Challenge. Lots of great ideas!

Does your home have old bathroom elements you'd like to update? Serena from Thrift Diving had a turquoise shower that she transformed with paint! Check her post for detailed instructions for how she went from this:

If you're looking for ways to add pretty elements to your landscaping without spending a lot of money, you'll be interested in this post from Gena at Pretty + Efficient.  I really like this brick pillar she built for one of her flower beds.

Looking for a smaller project? Check out these darling summer tea towels created by Pamela from DIY Vibes.

Need to find some new ways to save money? You'll be glad to get this list of products to replace expensive disposables from Lazy Budget Chef.

Need some food for your spirit? Check out his post from Tai at A Spirit-Kissed Soul.

Now for today's party.  Here at the Grace at Home party, I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.  Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  Note that if you link a post here, you are giving me permission to share your post, including a photo.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party, and during these difficult times, it can really make someone's day!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  5. You are right about families making good use of their time at home ... which can't be all bad. One of my granddaughters was telling me yesterday how excited she is to be growing a garden and how much they have all been playing games as a family. Thanks for hosting!
