Grace at Home No. 339

Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you're here for this week's Grace at Home party. This party is a once-a-week chance to pause and celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace.

I haven't written about this yet, but my weekend was momentous. If you join me on Instagram or Facebook, you might have seen that my youngest son—my baby!—graduated from college. (By the way, I'm wearing heels in this photo—my "baby" is now 6'8".)

Happy times! But so many mixed emotions, as you might guess.

But we're not here to talk about me; let's look at what y'all have been up to!

Tiffany at A Nod to Navy remodeled her kitchen. Isn't this beautiful? Wait 'til you see the "before" photos!

We've been having absolutely gorgeous spring weather, so I'm excited to jazz up our outdoor spaces. I was so glad to get step-by-step instructions for creating a beautiful hanging basket from Pam at Busy Lifestyle Gal.

I'm always meaning to organize our photos, but never seem to get around to it. If you also struggle with this, you'll be glad to get this inspiring advice from Jen Wise at LifeTales Books and Personal Publishing.

Do you struggle with meal planning? Me, too. I was glad to find these budget-friendly meal ideas from Robin at Fluster Buster.

And for my next meal plan, I think I'll make Instant Pot beef carnitas following this recipe from Corinne at WonderMom Wannabe.

If you need some inspiration regarding your relationship with God, read this post from Donna at Soul Survival.

A big thank you to everyone who joined the last party!  I'm so grateful for each person who links up.

Now for this week's party! Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.  Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  Note that if you link a post here, you are giving me permission to share your post, including a photo.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. How exciting! Congratulations! Your "baby" sure is tall...my baby is almost 6 ft but he is just turning 13 next month. I am the shortest in the house now. Thanks for hosting and enjoy your weekend!

  2. Richella, congratulations on your son's graduation. I'm excited to check out Jen's post on family stories and the Instapot fahita recipe (I'm new to jump on board the instapot thing). Thanks, too, for featuring my post "Thoughts Are Words to God." Have a great week in the Lord!

  3. Richella, congratulations on your son's graduation, what an achievement for both he and you & your husband! Wow, he towers over you, but you look so adorable. I love your dress!

I have been away for nearly 5 mos except for 1 or 2 posts. I'm happy to say I'm exiting from the dark tunnel of a downsize move from big house to city loft condo, and am back on the blog. I'm embracing the light and joining the party. Thank you for hosting!
