When I'm at my best, I remember that old saying: "The days are long, but the years are short."
On these midsummer days, when the temperature hovers above 90 degrees for weeks on end, I am apt to get stuck in just concentrating on the long, long days.
So this Lord's day, I stop.
Take a deep breath.
Remember my Creator.
And I sing to myself words that I need to hear today:
Grace to you,
Grace to you;
May grace abound in all you do--
Grace to do the will of the Father,
Grace, grace to you.
Perhaps you need to hear them today, too.
God bless you, friends.

Beauty and simplicity. Nothing better for the Lord's Day. Thank you. I needed it.
