Nothing better in the world

If you're a mom, I hope your Mother's Day was as happy as mine.

my guys and me on a picnic in Duke Gardens

Take it from me: these times together are no less sweet when your kids are all bigger than you.

Thank you, Lord, for the privilege of being a mother.

  4. Awwww, look at those handsome boys! Looks like you all had a wonderful day. :) Happy (very late) Mother's Day!

T was working and my girls decided to be slightly out of sorts today, but it was all right. I'm hoping things look up tomorrow with the possibility of that "unconventional gift." ;)

    Hugs!

  8. Hi! I did have a great Mothers day..Looks like you did as well :)
I took a three hour nap and that never happens in my house. Let's just say...I'm one happy campoer today. You asked about my saw. I use a jigsaw for everything and it drives my Dad crazy. He has a huge workshop and all kinds of fancy saws. He lives just nextdoor and has offered his place to me. No thank you... I enjoy working under my carport on a small table with "his" jigsaw. It feels safe to me unlike all of those other saws. I would like to keep all of my fingers..hehe. Have a great day! xoxox Susie~

  13. Every time I see my two boys stretched out in their beds, I realize that the time when they WILL be bigger than me is only about 5 minutes away! I love being a mom of boys, too!

  14. I just love this pic of you and your boys. Warms my heart since one of my biggest fears is my boys outgrowing me.

  16. You are so right about these moments together. And as they get older it's harder and harder to get them all together. Enjoy every moment.
