He had recently returned from his Senior Beach Trip. He shared with me the day by day events that took place that week. Some things I could have not been told but that drive with just me and my baby talking and laughing and sharing was priceless to me! I am going to miss him do much!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6758915940467026052.post-74180133971199688602012-06-19T06:52:22.078-04:002012-06-19T06:52:22.078-04:00now even i don't mind a dragonfly :) there are...now even i don't mind a dragonfly :) there are many others i would not want to see on my window sill!!

the time is just zipping right along...i am feeling it!! but along with wishing i had a pause button, the growing up makes me excited too... so i guess i'll just stick with the plan :)Dawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03037135437820258553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6758915940467026052.post-13194274384230160142012-06-18T22:29:25.701-04:002012-06-18T22:29:25.701-04:00Well, it's better than a dead rat on the porch...Well, it's better than a dead rat on the porch (which my cat used to bring me as a "gift"). My daughters get so excited to find dandelions near the sidewalk when we're out for a stroller walk. I try to keep them in a water cup for a day just to show them how much I appreciate their affection. Dandelions, as you know, don't do so well within an hour of being picked. I try not to let the girls see me toss them in the garbage after a while, which is where all dandelions eventually must go!Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15357606584404561523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6758915940467026052.post-33966208366357530212012-06-18T18:26:33.220-04:002012-06-18T18:26:33.220-04:00This made me laugh as just last night my almost 18...This made me laugh as just last night my almost 18 year old found a snake outside & tried putting it into a hamster cage to show me!! Thankfully, the snake slithered out of the cage & got away :) Another time one of my boys brought a live lizard into the house & lost it! We never did find it, I keep telling myself it found it's way back outside :) Oh the joys of boys!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6758915940467026052.post-10132611559349115042012-06-18T16:56:18.393-04:002012-06-18T16:56:18.393-04:00So sweet! The one year old gave me a piece of paper she'd chewed off a book just yesterday. The 4, 5 and 6 year olds bring me rocks, wildflowers, and pinecones every week. I can't stand to toss any of them and my house is full of treasure.Karolnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6758915940467026052.post-7329848229817380192012-06-18T09:16:06.214-04:002012-06-18T09:16:06.214-04:00Ha.
