Grace at Home No. 499

Hello, friends! I blinked, and it's the second week of March. . . and it's been so warm that my husband and I have been eating some of our meals on our screened porch. Just look at this photo I snapped during our lunch on Sunday:

I was stunned by the loveliness of the sunlight streaming in. And starting next week, we'll have an extra hour of sunlight in the evenings! Are you a fan of Daylight Saving Time?

I'm tickled to welcome to the Grace at Home party, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace and beauty. Here are some highlights from last week's party.

Looking for inspiration for decorating your kitchen for spring? You'll enjoy a visit to Penny's Vintage Home.

On a practical note: do you have rooms in your home that lack a ceiling light? I think you'll appreciate seeing how Lisa from Condo Blues devised a cute and clever way to light her home office.

St. Patrick's Day is almost here! Looking for a fun treat to serve? Check out these gluten-free peanut butter and chocolate cookies from Laura Kelly.

Easter is coming up in just a month! If you'd like to decorate your home for Easter, learn how to make these lovely decoupaged Easter eggs made by MaryJo at MasterPIECES of My Life.

Or perhaps you'd like to try your hand at making velvet Easter eggs. Julie from My Wee Abode shares complete DIY instructions.

If you're like me, you've been feeling stretched too thin. Donna Reidland from Soul Survival has some good advice for us.

Thank you to everyone who joined last week's party!

  1. Richella, thanks so much for featuring my post "When You're Stretched Too Thin." You are always a blessing! :) You asked about Daylight Savings Time. I don't enjoy that jump forward on a Sunday morning so I guess I could do without it. But I like your take on it ... an extra hour of sunlight in the evening.

  12. Thanks so much for another fun party. Enjoy your al fresco dining. I'm jealous. It's been raining cats& dogs in Northern California. We can't complain tho since we do need the wet. I appreciate the feature on my decoupage eggs. I am ready for all things spring. XO- MaryJo
