Grace at Home No. 305

Hello and welcome, friends! I'm so grateful to welcome you to this week's Grace at Home party, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace.

You might have noticed that I took a couple of weeks off from hosting the party. The reason for that? Well, one reason is that it's mid-summer. But the main reason is that I've been spending pretty much every minute looking like this:

That's me in my natural habitat these days: working on the manuscript of my book. (If you didn't know, I'm thrilled to tell you that I'm writing a book for InterVarsity Press called Mythical Me: Escaping the Trap of Comparison.) My manuscript is due August 1, which is less than two weeks from now! YIKES!

I'd surely appreciate your prayers for me as I work like crazy to finish this book. I'm excited about it, and that's a good thing, because writing a book is hard work.  I have renewed respect for authors.

Meanwhile, though, I'm interested to hear from y'all and see what you've been up to. Grace at Home is (usually) a weekly place for you to share posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.  Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  Note that if you link a post here, you are giving me permission to share your post, including a photo.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!
