When in Rome . . .

. . . do as the tourists do.

At least some of the time.  Especially if you can get your guys to have photos made with you.

I can hardly believe we're here!  It's hot and crowded, but we're having a wonderful time with Will.  I'm so glad to see him I can hardly stand it, but I think the one who's happiest to see him is Lee.  Lee has missed his big brother!  The Ambassador's office gave Will a couple of days off, so he's showing us the sights.  More photos to come.

Hope you're having a wonderful day!  Ciao!

  9. Love the photo of you, Jack, Will & Lee - and you're even color-coordinated (with a die hard Star Wars fan, no less). I can hear Frank singing now, "Three coins in a fountain..."

    Blessings,

  11. Forgot to say how moving it was to be at the colossum...just knowing the history and knowing how many Christians stood firm and gave all for what they believed...very moving to me. If you get the chance..do try to see The Pantheon, just a stones throw from the Vatican...totally unbelievable!
