Grace at Home No. 181

Hello, friends! Welcome to our weekly Grace at Home party!

Thanksgiving is just one week from today, and I'm busy getting ready for the big day.  I want to savor Thanksgiving rather than rushing through it to get to Christmas.  So here are some posts that caught my eye last week:

Patti from Old Things New recently moved to the South and has re-opened my eyes to many beautiful things that I take for granted. . . like sweetgum balls!  Look at the beautiful wreath she created from these prickly spheres--and go read about the lesson she learned from seeing the beauty here!

Andrea from Living on Cloud Nine shared several easy crafts for Thanksgiving--perfect for little ones.

Jessica and Katie from Sweet Little Ones showed us an easy way to capture a Thanksgiving memory with children--a great decoration and a fun keepsake.

And Rosalind from A Little R and R shared her mom's easy method for making perfect pie crust, easy as pie!  I think I'll try this next week!

Those are just a few of my favorites.  A big thank you to everyone who joined last week's party!  I'm so grateful for each person who links up each week. If you've been featured, feel free to grab the "I was featured" button (the code is right over in my sidebar).  I'd be so proud if you displayed it!

Now for this week's party!  Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.  Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!

Who would have thought sweet gum balls could make such a nice wreath? I am amazed by the creativity out there. It looks like there are some wonderful party posts this week! Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you for featuring my gumball wreath Richella. I just love the texture it adds to my den. Now I really need to pin that pie crust hack recipe for sure. I can hardly wait to eat all of the Thanksgiving goodies!
Blessings to you my friend,
Patti
