Grace at Home No. 158

Welcome!  Welcome to the weekly Grace at Home party!

We've been at this for a long time now.  For more than three years, we've gathered here weekly to celebrate the ways God extends His grace to us and the ways we make our homes places of grace.  I pray that this gathering is a blessing to you.

Here are some posts that caught my eye from last week's party:

Cat from Pocketful of Posies created a brick accent wall in her bedroom--without using a single brick.  She did this with a stencil and paint, y'all!

Jolena from While I Linger has been working to make her kitchen beautiful, including this DIY island.  You should see how the island started out!

I'm on a quest to find some new dinner recipes, so I was happy to see this recipe for lower-calorie General Tso's chicken at Lou Lou Girls.

My favorite post from last week is this difficult but hope-filled story from Kathy at Miss Grace-Filled Life.  Kathy writes from experience about dealing with deep disappointment.  A must-read!

Those are just a few of my favorites.  A big thank you to everyone who joined last week's party!  I'm so grateful for each person who links up each week. If you've been featured, feel free to grab the "I was featured" button (the code is right over in my sidebar).  I'd be so proud if you displayed it!

Now for this week's party!  Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.  Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!

Hi Richella sounds like we're living similar lives. Both my boys are back home for a while before moving on to other stages in their lives. My youngest will be transferring soon and my oldest is saving to move out on his own...I'm relishing what I think might be the last time we're all living together.
thanks for the great party. I'm happy to be joining you today

Oh my! What an awesome faux brick wall. I would have never guessed. I love natural brick walls in the old industrial buildings and lofts. Had a shop once with just that. Love it. Thanks for sharing.
