Grace at Home No. 140

Hello and welcome!  I'm so glad you're here for the Grace at Home party!

Today is a special day at our house: it's my husband's birthday!  Isn't it fun to celebrate life's milestones with the people we love?  I'll be busy cake-making and present-wrapping today.  But first, let me show you some of the posts from last week that caught my eye.

Jenn from One Thrifty Chick shared a dramatic DIY kitchen transformation.  You'll be amazed at the difference between the before and after looks!

Pat from Life At Lydia's House showed us how she transformed an old refrigerator into a customized one to match her cabinets.  Brilliant!

Debi from Surroundings by Debi gave us a step-by-step look at how she updated a boring builder-grade bathroom in one weekend.

I just love all these DIY projects!

Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and if you're looking for a smaller DIY project, you might want to try making these 3-D Hanging Paper Hearts from Diane at An Extraordinary Day.  So cute!

Elizabeth from Yes, They Are All Ours shared a recipe for Chocolate Pretzel Peanut Butter Bars that I'm eager to try.  Yum!

Erica from Let Why Lead shared a great reading list.  She's determined to make 2015 a year of being a good example to her daughter by showing herself love.  A great list she's put together!

As for me, I shared some encouragement for mid-winter that I hope will bless you.

Those are just a few of my favorites.  Thank you to everyone who joined the party!  I'm so grateful for each person who links up each week. If you've been featured, feel free to grab the "I was featured" button (the code is right over in my sidebar).  I'd be so proud if you displayed it!

Now for this week's party!  Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.  Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!
