Grace at Home No. 108

Welcome to the Grace at Home party!  I'm so glad you're here.  Last week I was participating in a summer blog hop, so I was unable to host our weekly party, and I missed it.  I appreciate this little time each week to ponder God's grace at work in our lives and to celebrate the ways we make our homes reflections of that grace.

Here are a few of my favorites from the last party.

You'll want to check out this post from Gretchen at Willow Hill Farm Girl.  She and her family have followed their dream of living in the country.  Just look at the place they've created for themselves:

There were a number of posts with patriotic themes--perfect for this time of year!  This Saturday is Flag Day, and of course Independence Day is approaching rapidly.  You'll find some great patriotic-themed crafts in this post from Barb at Second Chance to Dream, like this upcycled window pane flag:

If you're planning a picnic to take advantage of the summer weather, you should check out this yummy picnic menu from Bernadette at Barefoot Hippie Girl.  Several recipes included!

Since I got married in June many years ago,  I can't help but think of June brides!  Heidi Kay from Muslin and Merlot shared some easy ways to decorate for a wedding:

My precious friend Marty from A Stroll Thru Life is such a great example of graciousness.  She's always finding little ways to make her home beautiful, such as this simple way to gold leaf a glass vase:

Kendra at Joy in Our Home took a couple of beat-up nightstands and turned them into these beauties:

Pamela from Our Sheltering Tree shared a beautiful post about the much-needed discipline of solitude:

These are just a few of my favorites.  Thank you to everyone who joined last week's party!  I'm so grateful for each person who links up each week. If you've been featured, feel free to grab the "I was featured" button (the code is right over in my sidebar).  I'd be so proud if you displayed it!

Now for this week's party!  Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.  Here's what I ask of you.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  Please let people know that you've linked up.  No more than three posts per person, please.  And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!
