Welcome to the weekly Grace at Home party! Whew, hasn't December gone by quickly?? Here we are less than one week until Christmas Day.
My head is spinning just a bit, and I am grateful for this chance to pause and reflect on the wonderful truth of God's grace toward us and the opportunity we have to make our homes places that reflect God's goodness--places of grace, love, and beauty. Deep breath. Ahhhh.
Here are a few of my favorite links from last week's party, where wonderful Christmas decor abounded.
I love Christmas trees big and small, and Carol from An Oasis in the Desert created an adorable one from clothespins. Perfect for the laundry room!
If you need ornaments for your tree, you might want to try making some of these wine cork snowflakes. Paula from Sweet Pea will show you how.
I treasure our Nativity sets, but I think I might like to have one more--this one from BibleLoveNotes.
Whimsey Renee provided a tutorial for making this great pine cone swag. I'm making note of this for next year!
One thing I really need this week is help with wrapping packages! So I was delighted to find these simple gift wrapping ideas from Laura at The Turquoise Home:
And something I need all year long is the reminder to cultivate a thankful heart. Shari Lynne at Faith-Filled Food for Moms provides some wonderful help with this.
Now for this week's party! Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about
- DIY projects
- homemaking tips
- soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it. Here's what I ask of you. Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page. Please let people know that you've linked up. No more than three posts per person, please. And visit at least one of the other party participants--that's what really makes it a party!
