Grace at Home No. 69

Hello, friends!  Welcome to the Grace at Home party!  This is the place to celebrate all the things we do to make our homes places of grace, love, and beauty.  (If you're new here, you can read all about the party here.)

Here are a few of my favorites from the last party.

Patti at Old Things New showed us her front porch all decked out for enjoying these late summer evenings.  I particularly like the way she decorated the chains of the porch swing--isn't that clever?

Paula from Sweet Pea transformed an old bulletin board into a chalkboard.  I would never have thought this was possible, but doesn't it look great?

Bernadette from Barefoot Hippie Girl shared her most recent thrift store finds--and explains the process she follows for successful thrift store shopping.  Great tips!

Kathy at Miss Grace-Filled Life shared a recipe for Red Beans and Rice.  I'm going to try this as soon as the weather cools down enough to make me want hot food again!

And on a very practical note, Christine from Little Brags demonstrates an amazing way to remove pet stains from carpet.  I'm going to be trying this tip, for sure!

Thank you to everyone who joined the party!  I'm so grateful for each person who links up each week. If you've been featured this week (or in a previous week), feel free to grab the "I was featured" button (the code is right over in my sidebar).  I'd be so proud if you displayed it!

Now for this week's party!  Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.  Please include the permalink to your post, not your blog's home page.  And may I ask a couple of favors of you?  Please help to spread the word about this party by letting people know that you've linked up.  And please visit at least one of the other party participants!

Home parties with friends are the best. Love the cushion covers from your porch, I have bedspreads with similar designs, very spring season!
