Grace at Home No. 37--Welcome!

Welcome to this week's Grace at Home party, where we celebrate all the ways we make our homes places of grace!

Last week's party was lovely.  Here are just a few of my favorite entries from last week.

Christmas decorating is at the top of the list for me right now, so I was drawn to this beautiful tree from Shelia at Note Songs.  I have a special fondness for a tree tucked beside a staircase.

And this wreath from Tonya at Love of Family and Home caught my eye.  Tonya wrote a step-by-step tutorial for making it.

Shelly from Life on the Wild Side shared her Top 10 Favorite Children's Books to give as gifts.  This is a great resource!

In all the flurry of Christmas decorating, I find myself needing to make a special effort to concentrate on my husband and his well-being.  So I was glad to see this post from Barb at Second Chance to Dream: 35 Things I've Learned in 35 Years of Marriage.

Along those same lines, Christy from Soul Carrot shared a post called 8 Tips to Help Your Man Get Healthier.  There's some good advice here!

And Cyndi from Walking in Grace and Beauty shared some very practical and timely advice for taking care of yourself: 3 Ways to Help with Winter Lips.  I needed this help!

Thanks so much to everyone who joined the party!  I'm grateful for each of you.  If you've been featured this week (or in a previous week), feel free to grab the "I was featured" button.

Now for this week's party!  Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about
  • DIY projects
  • decorating
  • recipes
  • hospitality
  • homemaking tips
  • parenting
  • marriage
  • faith
  • self-care
  • soul care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it.

Please link to your specific blog post, not your home page, and include a link in your post back to this party.  And please visit some of the other links and leave some words of encouragement!

It is beautiful to see how everyone decorates for Christmas and how they might have their own holiday experience. Since my home will be very quite and not decorated I will live vicariously through each of these photos/experiences. Thank you for the opportunity to see how others will celebrate. Especially when it might be difficult for others.
