My goodness, how the time flies! I can hardly believe we've been gathering here to celebrate the ways we make our homes places of grace for 35 weeks!
Two special announcements, just in case you missed them. This week I'm holding a giveaway for a $100 gift card to the winner's choice of stores (just in time for holiday shopping!). Click here to read about the giveaway and enter to win.
And on Monday, December 17, I'll be hosting a special link party about the special ways we celebrate Christmas. It's called "Home for the Holy Days," and I'd love for you to mark your calendar and plan to join me for that.
Last week's party included some wonderful links. Here are just a few of my favorites.
Marty at A Stroll Thru Life showed us how she re-did her master bedroom, step by step. Marty is such a beautiful lady and full of wisdom. It's fun to see the way this room evolved.
Turning now to a very different area of the home, Becky from Organizing Made Fun transformed her basement laundry room with pegboard. Yes, this is pegboard--doesn't it look pretty?
I'm working hard to prepare for Thanksgiving; I'll bet you are, too. Moni at ZuHaus at Home provides a tutorial for how to make your silver shine. Good-bye, tarnish!
I want to make some Thanksgiving cards to send to friends far away. Paula from Sweet Pea has created some beautiful ones; I'm going to follow her instructions to make these.
In all the flurry of holiday preparations, it can be challenging to remember to take care of ourselves, can't it? I was encouraged by reading this post by Lisa from The Pennington Point about her struggle with beauty; I think you will be, too!
Thanks so much to everyone who joined last week's party! I'm grateful for each of you. If you've been featured this week (or in a previous week), feel free to grab my new "I've been featured" button.
