See the very top right-hand corner of the bottom photo? That's the most important thing--air conditioning! The one downside to visiting Rome in July is the heat. But our apartment is blissfully cool.
So here's Grace at Home even though I'm not at home. Hopefully the link will still work and you all can join. I'll have a lot of blog visiting to do when I get back to the States. I so appreciate everyone who joins the party each week!
Grace at Home is a place for you to share anything related to making your home a place of grace. I invite you to link posts about
- DIY projects
- decorating
- recipes
- hospitality
- homemaking tips
- parenting
- marriage
- faith
- self-care
Whatever you do to make your home a place of grace, I'd like to hear about it. Please link to your specific blog post, not your home page, and include a link in your post back to this party.

No kidding - an entire apartment costs less than a hotel? Wonderful! It sure sounds like you're having a fabulous time in Rome! Thanks for inviting us all along.
The apartment looks like a lovely place to stay, much better than a hotel. Our friends travel frequently in Europe and rent apartments. I hadn't heard of people doing that until they told me about it.
Glad you are enjoying your trip!
Looks very nice. Maybe this is a great topic for a 'tutorial' so to speak when you return and have time. Pro's & con's from your experience using vrbo.com and hints/tips for others. I like hearing first hand experience and details.
Thanks,
dee
Oh and so much warmer and homier than a hotel room! Have a great trip!
The apartment looks awesome!! What a great trip!!! :) This is my first time to link up, and I am so glad to be here.
I'm so excited for you, especially about being in that gorgeous apartment. How wonderful. I returned home on Tuesday from Bologna (and one day in Florence), and I can attest to that heat. Our digs were quite the opposite of yours--a youth hostel with NO a/c. Let's just say that sleeping was a challenge. :)
I love vrbo! We rent our beach house that way. Your apartment is beautiful. What a fun experience!
Look at that gorgeous chandelier AND a wall of art! How beautiful. Makes me want to hop a plane and head to Europe pronto. Hope it's been an amazing trip!
