Running behind

Did you ever feel like, no matter how fast you move or how hard you try, you just keep falling behind? Like you want to get ahead, but you can't even quite catch up?

Me, too.

As a matter of fact, as I was working in my dining room today, guess what I spied?

Yes. Yes, those are magnolia leaves and Christmas plates. The ones I carefully placed there the week after Thanksgiving.

And now it's four days until Easter. Ahem.

In case you ever wondered, magnolia leaves do not remain supple and green for four and a half months.

Now that my husband is home from the hospital, I'm really eager to catch up--not just on things around the house, but also with all of you!

So nice to know I'm not alone! :-) Although with all you have had going on in your life, I think you have a pretty good reason to feel behind on things. Give yourself some "grace"! :-)

So glad you're home and Jack is doing well!
Maybe you should just leave the Christmas plates up and get a head start for this year ;)

So glad that you guys are home from the hospital. I am still praying for your husband's recovery. Don't feel bad..I found some holly leaves all withered up in my birdcage in the sunroom the other day. They just fell apart when I took them out! :D Carla

Oh well, right? Haha! I just took down the Christmas garland in my kitchen a few weeks ago. Whoopsie.

I'm sure you will catch up with everything in good time. You need some time for yourself after all that you have been through.

Wishing you a wonderful Easter!

XO,
Jane

Funny...I'm sure you'll get it done in good time...it's okay. As Vanessa said, give yourself grace to feel behind. And glad to hear things are going well.

Heehee! Bless your heart, I think after all you've been through these last few weeks, you're entitled to be a little behind.:-) Still praying for you all!

Yes I can relate to that totally.
I'm sure the days are getting shorter.
Darn shame we need to sleep but oh it is so sweet sometimes.. which reminds me it is now midnight and I'm still on this computer..
Maybe that might be the key to where my lost hours are going????
